A refrigerated truck these days has to have a state of the art environmentally friend refrigeration system that cuts costs and is very reliable.

Reefers come in all different sizes and configuraions. Generally a refrigerated container or reefer is a shipping container used in intermodal freight transport that is refrigerated for the transportation of cargo that is sensitive to temperature fluctuations.

While the majority of containers pop on a chasis, a refrigerated truck unit, is actually a refrigerated trailer, towed by a power unit or truck. Container ships move vast numbers of refrigerated containers every day into North American ports.
